What does my complete package offer?
Whether this is your first or your fifth delivery, I offer you consistent support unique to your needs.
Ultimately my role as your Doula is to deeply listen, offering information as well as calming and grounding support that best serves you. I want to give you the space and knowledge you need to ensure you have the empowered birth you deserve.
Our initial meeting will help me tailor my packages to fit your needs, as every pregnancy is different. To schedule an initial consultation, or to learn more about my practice, please feel free to contact me.
PRENATAL VISITS
prenatal visits covering techniques and supports for labour and birth, addressing any specific areas of concern you may have
access to my library as well as practices to help prepare for life before and after birth
LABOUR SUPPORT
I am available to answer any questions you have offering on call support from 37 weeks until birth
I will be available to you whenever you need me offering virtual and hands on support during labour, birth and the first hour(s) after
POSPARTUM CARE
Offering information, emotional and physical support for both baby and parents with whatever is needed be it feeding/sleeping/nourishing/etc
I follow up in home within the first week of birth to reflect on your experience and offer help with early newborn care
BIRTH SUPPORT
How do I offer support?
Birth is a very personal and unique experience. If it is your first birth, you might need more help answering questions about the process and techniques to ease physical discomforts, surges and emotional fears. If it your third birth, your might be looking for more specific help to address areas in your past births that have left you unsatisfied, or techniques to help your family welcome this new baby. Whatever the support you need, I am here to provide a sense of grounding and calm, all to be sure you experience the positive birth that you deserve
INFORM
From our initial meeting, all the way through your pregnancy and delivery, I take the time to get to know you, listening to your concerns and your needs. I answer any questions you have with up-to-date, evidence-based information so that you can spend a little less time getting lost in the never-ending sea of mis/information online and more time focusing on creating a calm and healthy home for your baby.
SUPPORT
l find the pregnant body beautiful and powerful to behold, although I recognize that pregnancy and birth often present difficult physical challenges. I offer emotional and physical support, listening to your concerns and offering techniques to ease prenatal discomfort. I also offer positions and practices to help manage pain during labour and delivery, as well as techniques for bonding with your baby and as family in the early stages of this new life.
EMPOWER
Whether you need a big or a small presence from me, I am always available to offer relevant information to fit your needs. I will be by your side as a constant physical and emotional support, helping to build your comfort and confidence during labour, delivery and postpartum. I will make sure that you are well-informed so that you can confidently navigate this experience, trusting in your body, your baby, and your support system.
